Strange developments
[This week (24/11/2007) we had an extreme storm, flash floods, evacuations]
So what’s up with this weather you have here? In Babylon we had seasons. You have events! And as for the wind, well it blows up my robes in all the wrong places! But, you know, that’s God for you. Blowing in all the wrong places, except really they’re the right places. If you don’t know what I mean, never mind, read this letter I received, and it’ll all make sense. Yirat Adonai
As always, please write, I love to hear from you. Mordecai

Dear Mordecai: One Sunday afternoon just after lunch my wife and I decided to visit my aunt in Kenilworth. We never bothered to check if she was at home because generally she's always there. Having knocked on the door we discovered she had gone out. So a bit lost we decided to visit a friend in Bothasig and wisely checked if she was at home. She informed us she would be home by 5pm. With all this time to kill we headed of to a coffee shop in Bothasig, Rosati's, and when we got there they were just closing. We got back in the car and headed of to a new shopping village in Plattekloof and to our delight they we open. Walking towards the coffee shop we recognized my wife's brother sitting at a table with his fiancée and we gladly joined them. Two minutes after we had sat down an old friend of my wife's brother walk by and he joined us as well. The two of them hadn't seen each other for a long time and he was quite a sociable fellow.
He began sharing a little bit of his life with us and mentioned that after his first marriage ended he remarried and soon after they had a daughter, his wife was killed in a car accident. Things just went from bad to worst. Then he said “But things are much better now and I love every day of my life". So I asked him "Well, what changed your life?" He sat there with a smile and said "God came into my life". He then went onto explain how God worked in his life and things slowly improved. He got a message to go to Nigeria, which he thought was wacky, and how the finances just worked out and the time was found. He met a man named Prophet Josh who worked among the poor and how this experience enriched his life.
Then we noticed how my wife's brother's fiancée was holding onto every word the chap was saying .On the way home we discussed how she was totally focused on this chaps testimony. A few weeks later we heard she had an experience where a second personality inside her came to the forefront and it was a nasty experience for my wife's brother and his fiancée and her two children. They approached the Catholic Church and the priest who had many years of experience with this type of case freed her from this unclean spirit which they believe entered her in her childhood when she got involved with the wrong things.
We believe that due to the meeting of this chap, and his testimony, and the right question being asked, she had found a way to get help with her internal baggage. So don't always try to force things to go your way, allow God to move you in his way. You might be pleasantly surprised.
God bless you all.
